The three options are open for people of all age and kind,

yoga practitioners or beginners,

but all sharing the burning willingness to learn

"Yoga and Spirit"

This trip lasts 3 weeks in total.

Two of them will take place in Mysore, practicing yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (science of the breath) and bhajans (devotional chants). The classes will be led by Acharya Venkatesh, worldly known as one of the major experts in the science of yoga

Acharya Venkatesh and his wife are the directors of Atma Vikasa Yoga, Centre of Yogic Sciences, where they teach to people from all parts of the world and of all age, who come searching for a deep understanding of yoga. Acharya Venkatesh is well known for his precision in the teaching of asanas, stressing the importance of concentration and commitment in your practice and the understanding of the flow of prana. The devotional chants are offered at the end of the day, as a tool for awakening, showing gratitude and keep one in touch with the rich Indian cultural and traditional background

During our free time, in between the last morning class and the chanting, we'll visit the places of interest in and around Mysore: the palace, the colourful market, the temples, the river, Chamundi Hill, etc..

We'll spend the week-end into the Nature, heading for Coorg and its coffee plantations, enjoying Vijoo's delicious vegetarian and local food or to Ooty, to have a breeze of fresh air and contemplate the wild animals in their environment (one or the other place according to the climate at the time of year you'll be in India)

On our last week, a taxi will transport us to other parts of South India, to visit sacred places… Arunachala, Pondicherry , Auroville…Places where Masters and saints had chosen to spend part of their lives and received Grace from the Divine, meditating in the very spots where they lived

Wherever the space will be adequate, we'll keep performing our morning yoga practice, in order to feel its ongoing benefits
